Day 1: Arrival in Udaipur
Arrive by a morning flight and get transferred to your hotel. Udaipur is known as the ‘Venice of the East’. Nestled around the Aravali hills, with its royal palaces casting their shadows on its mighty lakes, Udaipur boasts of an incredibly serene setting for a romantic getaway with your beloved.
Check-in at the hotel in Udaipur and spend the afternoon at leisure. In the evening, you would embark on one of the most romantic experiences Udaipur has to offer- a four hour excursion to Jag Mandir Palace. After reaching the lake, you will be taken to Jag Mandir Island by boat (by your own). Jag Mandir Palace, also called Lake Garden Palace is located on the southern island of Lake Pichola. The restaurant there is rated as one of the best in the city. Have an elaborate buffet dinner, soak in the spectacular views on offer, and then return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Udaipur
After a late breakfast, start your day with a visit to Saheliyon-Ki-Bari, a wonderfully well maintained heritage garden. Proceed to visit the Museum of folk arts, which has a remarkable collection of Rajasthani folk art.
Lunch at 1559 AD bistro lounge ( by your own ), which is one of the most picturesque restaurants of the city located close to Fateh Sagar Lake.
In the evening, proceed for Monsoon palace for the best view of the city at Sunset. Also known as Sajjangarh, the palace is placed at a peak of Bansdara Mountain. It is 944 m. high above the sea level. It is a huge structure overlooking the famous Pichola Lake and offers a spectacular view of the city.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Udaipur to Mount Abu (180 km/ 3.5 hours)
Post breakfast, proceed for your journey to Mount Abu- the only hill station in Rajasthan. Incredibly picturesque, the place is extremely popular amongst couples and families.
Reach your hotel and check-in. After that visit the Dilwara Jain temples, which are considered by many as the most magnificent Jain temples. You are sure to be amazed by the intricate architecture of the temples- the fine carvings on the pillars and domes will again leave you wondering in amazement on the craftsmanship of our ancient temple makers.
Day 5: Transfer to Udaipur and departure (180 km/ 3 hours)
Post breakfast, check-out and leave for Udaipur to catch your return flight/train/bus!
