At this place only, God Shiva placed Goddess Ganga in the matted locks to control her fall. Kedarnath is the last stoppage of Char Dham Yatra and is the seat of Lord Shiva. It is also one of the 12 jyotirlingas of the country. PLaces to visit here are Kedarnath Temple, Gandhi Sarovar, Shankaracharya Samadhi and Bhairon Temple.
